Every creator e-signs a contract before entering your campaign’s workspace. The signed document is a single PDF assembled from three parts:
  1. Part 1: The Agreement. The terms between you and the creator. This part is yours to shape.
  2. Part 2: NewWave Platform Terms. Fixed platform rules appended to every contract: the parties, how payments work (including your campaign’s payout table), how views are tracked and measured, NewWave’s role and liability, governing law, and the order of precedence between the parts.
  3. Part 3: Signatures. The signature page carrying your campaign signature and the creator’s.
Parts 2 and 3 are the same for every campaign and can’t be edited. Everything below is about Part 1.

Choosing your Part 1

Open your campaign’s Settings and the Creator contract dialog. The left side always shows a live preview of the exact assembled PDF a creator will sign.
  • NewWave agreement (the default): our standard brand↔creator agreement. Click Customize to open it in a rich-text editor, pre-loaded with the standard clauses, and edit it like any document. Once saved, the tile reads “NewWave agreement · customized,” and you can keep editing or reset back to the standard text.
  • Your own PDF: upload the agreement your legal team already uses (PDF, up to 10MB). It’s used exactly as uploaded: NewWave appends Parts 2 and 3 but never alters your pages.
Keep Part 1 to the deal itself: deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, confidentiality, timelines. Payment mechanics, governing law, and the signature block belong to Parts 2 and 3; anything conflicting is resolved by Part 2’s order-of-precedence clause.

Editing with Wavie

The contract dialog has Wavie docked alongside the editor. Wavie knows the campaign: the brief, the payout structure, the creators, so you can describe the deal in plain language (“two-video minimum, 90-day usage window, product must ship back”) and it drafts or revises the agreement with you. You can also paste an existing agreement for Wavie to rebuild as an editable document. Wavie always shows you the full proposed text in chat and saves only after you approve it. If creators have already signed, it will also ask you to explicitly confirm that saving means they’ll be asked to re-sign.

Fill-in fields: collect details at signing

Part 1 can include fill-in fields: blanks each creator completes as part of signing, like a shipping address, a phone number, or an agreed fee. Their answers are written into the signed PDF right where the blank sits, and collected into a table for you. Fields are typed straight into the document as double-bracket tokens: Every blank is required. The creator can’t sign while one is empty, and the signing screen counts the blanks down and jumps to each one in turn, so add only what the deal actually needs. Reuse the same label wherever the same value should appear again in the document, and it stays one question answered once. Some values shouldn’t be typed by anyone: the platform stamps them automatically at signing with auto tokens: [[auto:signing_date]], [[auto:creator_name]], [[auto:creator_email]], [[auto:brand_name]], [[auto:brand_signer_name]], [[auto:brand_signing_date]], and [[auto:campaign_name]].
Fill-in fields live in the editable document, so they work on the NewWave agreement and your customized versions. An uploaded PDF is used verbatim and can’t carry fields, if you want fill-in blanks on your own agreement, ask Wavie to convert the PDF into an editable document first.

Seeing the answers

Once creators sign, the contract tile shows how many fill-in fields the document has, with a View their answers link. It opens a table: one row per signed creator, one column per field, and exports to CSV, so a shipping-address field becomes a ready-made fulfillment list.

Signing as the brand

You sign the campaign contract once: enter your name and title and (optionally) draw a signature in the same dialog. Your signature is reused on every creator’s signature page, and creators can’t sign until you have.

Changing a contract creators already signed

The contract is tamper-proof once signed: the signed PDF (including the creator’s filled-in answers) is fingerprinted, so what was agreed can always be verified. That also means changes aren’t silent:
  • Editing Part 1 (or changing payout terms) creates a new contract version.
  • Creators who signed the previous version are notified and asked to re-sign the new document before continuing. Their previous fill-in answers are kept and pre-filled.
  • Earnings already settled are never affected by a re-sign.
The editor and Wavie both warn you before a change that triggers re-signing, and tell you how many signed creators it touches.
If your workspace auto-signs contracts for approved creators, note that campaigns with required fill-in fields always send creators through the signing screen: an answer only they know can’t be auto-filled.

Questions brands ask

Yes: upload it as a PDF and it’s used exactly as-is for Part 1, with the Platform Terms and signature page appended. If you want fill-in fields on it, ask Wavie to convert it into an editable document first.
Two places: written into each creator’s signed PDF where the blank sits (part of the tamper-proof document), and collected into the View their answers table on the contract dialog, exportable as CSV.
A new version is created. Already-signed creators are asked to re-sign before continuing, with their previous answers pre-filled. Settled earnings are untouched. You’re shown how many creators are affected before the save goes through.
Don’t: payments, tracking, and settlement are defined by Part 2 (which includes your campaign’s actual payout table) and by the campaign’s payout structure. Part 2’s order-of-precedence clause resolves conflicts in its favor, so duplicating payment language in Part 1 only creates confusion.
