Write a brief, choose platforms, set a payout structure and dates, and publish — then keep your campaign healthy after it goes live.
A campaign is the project you run to get creator videos made. You write a brief, pick the platforms creators can post on, decide how they get paid, set a budget and dates, then publish it so creators can discover and apply. This page walks through building one and keeping it running.There’s no single setup wizard. You build a campaign one of two ways — by describing it to the NewWave AI agent in chat, or by starting a blank draft and filling it in on the Settings tab. Either way you end up on the same campaign page.
From your workspace, go to Campaigns. At the top is a hero with the NewWave AI chat box (“Launch Campaign with NewWave”) and suggestion chips; below it is a grid of your existing campaign cards. Each card shows the cover image, a status badge (Draft, Active, or Archived), a lock if the campaign is private, days left, the selected platforms, the budget, and total views. A Show archived toggle and a New campaign button sit nearby.

Start a new campaign — two ways
Either describe what you want in the AI chat box (or tap a suggestion chip like “Campaign ideas”) and the agent walks you through drafting the brief and outreach in a conversation; or click New campaign to instantly create a blank draft. Both land you on the campaign’s detail page.A blank draft is titled “Untitled campaign” and defaults to TikTok — remember to rename it and adjust the platforms.

Go to the campaign's Settings tab
On the campaign page, open Settings. For a draft you’ll see the prompt “Fill in everything below, then hit Publish to go live,” along with a publish-readiness checklist showing what’s still missing. Settings is organized into cards: Basics, Brief & guides, Platforms, Payout model, Timeline & budget, and Data export.

Fill in the Basics
Set the campaign Title (how it appears to creators in the marketplace), the Language, and the target Audience (gender: Any, Male, or Female). These fields edit inline — click a row, type, and save.

Write the brief and add guides
In Brief & guides, click Edit on the Overview to open a rich-text editor describing what creators should make. You can also add campaign Images, a UGC Setup Guide (account, equipment, and posting instructions), and Warm Up Instructions (how creators warm up their account before their first paid post). Each guide supports rich text plus file attachments.

Choose platforms and a posting target
In Platforms, pick any of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — these are where creators are allowed to publish. At least one is required. You can optionally set a posting target: a number of videos per creator per day or per week.

Set the payout model
In Payout model, click Edit and choose how creators earn: View-Based Tiers, CPM, or Flat Rate. You can also set an optional warm-up payout — a flat amount paid for warm-up videos. All amounts are in USD. (More on each option below.)

Set the timeline and budget
In Timeline & budget, pick the Start and End dates and enter the Budget — your spend ceiling. If a view-accumulation window is configured, it appears here as “Accumulation: N days,” the window during which a video’s views count toward earnings. See how tracking & payouts work.

Clear the publish-readiness checklist
For drafts, the checklist confirms six required items are done: Title, Brief written, at least one platform, Payout configured, Start & end dates, and Budget set. It counts down how many remain and turns green (“Ready to publish”) once everything is complete.

Publish (activate) the campaign
Click the Publish button in the campaign header to open the publish panel, then choose Activate Campaign to take your draft live. Creators can now discover and apply. In the same panel you can toggle Private Campaign, toggle Auto-Approve Creators, and copy or share the campaign link. After first activation, a reminder prompts you to review your UGC Setup Guide and Warm-up Instructions.
The brief is the rich-text description of what you want creators to make — it’s what they read before deciding to join, so it’s worth getting right. Alongside the overview, you can attach supporting material:
Campaign images — cover and reference visuals. Use JPEG, PNG, or WebP, under 5MB each.
UGC Setup Guide — account, equipment, and posting instructions a creator reviews before submitting.
Warm Up Instructions — how creators should warm up their account before their first paid post.
Each guide supports rich text plus up to 5 file attachments, each under 10MB.
Editing the brief or guides after launch creates a new brief version — an immutable snapshot. Your old brief isn’t overwritten, and creators see the updated version on their next login. Changes aren’t pushed retroactively to what a creator already agreed to.
You decide which of the four platforms creators may post on: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. At least one is required. You can optionally set a posting target — a target number of videos per creator, expressed per day or per week.
Some rows in Platforms settings, like “Auto-track” and “Auto-pay,” are shown but read-only right now.
How creators earn is the heart of your campaign. There are exactly three strategies, and you can layer an optional warm-up payout on top of any of them. All amounts are in USD, the only supported currency today.
View-Based Tiers
Each tier sets a view milestone and a bonus paid when a video reaches it — for example, 100at20Kviewsand200 at 50K views.
CPM
Pay a set rate per 1,000 views (for example, $5 per 1K), with an optional per-video maximum cap.
Flat Rate
A fixed amount per published video, regardless of how many views it earns.
The warm-up payout is an optional flat amount paid for warm-up videos. It bypasses your main strategy and is always paid as a flat rate — so if you want warm-ups to be paid, set it explicitly.
Enter View-Based Tiers in ascending order of view milestone. The highest tier is highlighted as the top reward.

The Publish button in the campaign header opens a panel where you control how your campaign goes out into the world:
Activate / Reactivate — take a draft live, or bring an archived campaign back.
Private Campaign — hide the campaign from the public marketplace so only creators with the access-code link can view and apply. You can regenerate the access code, which invalidates the old link.
Auto-Approve Creators — automatically approve applicants instead of reviewing each one manually.
Get link — copy the URL or share to X, LinkedIn, or email.
Regenerating a private campaign’s access code invalidates the previous link. Anyone who only had the old link will lose access until you re-share the new one.
Not yet live. Visible only to your team, freely editable, and shown with a publish-readiness checklist. It won’t appear in the marketplace until you activate it.
Active
Live and discoverable by creators (or by access-code link if private). Creators can apply and submit content; the card shows days left until the end date.
Paused
New submissions are stopped, but already-published content stays live.
Archived
Taken down and no longer accepting new submissions. Published content stays live, and the campaign can be reactivated.
You can keep editing a live campaign from Settings at any time. Edits create a new brief version, and creators pick up the changes on their next login.When activity should stop, you have two options that do different things:
Pause — stops new submissions while keeping published content live. Pause lives in Settings, presented as a danger-zone action.
Archive — takes the campaign down entirely. Done from the Publish panel in the header, and reversible (you can reactivate later).
Need the underlying data? Data export in Settings runs asynchronously: you request it, and a zip of the campaign’s creators and videos is emailed to you when it’s ready.
No. You either build the campaign by describing it to the NewWave AI agent in chat, or create a blank draft with New campaign and fill it in on the Settings tab. Both routes end on the same campaign page.
My new campaign is called 'Untitled campaign' and set to TikTok — is that a problem?
That’s just the default for a fresh blank draft. Rename it in Basics and adjust the selected platforms before you publish.
I edited the brief on a live campaign. Do creators get notified right away?
Not in real time. Brief and guide edits create a new version, and creators see it on their next login. Changes don’t retroactively alter what a creator already agreed to.
Do warm-up videos get paid by my main payout model?
No. Warm-up videos are paid the flat warm-up payout, which bypasses your main strategy. If you want warm-ups paid, set the warm-up amount explicitly in the payout editor.
What's the difference between pausing and archiving?
Pausing stops new submissions but keeps published content live — useful for a temporary hold. Archiving takes the campaign down entirely, though you can reactivate it later. Pause is in Settings; archive is in the Publish panel.
Can I limit who sees my campaign?
Yes. Turn on Private Campaign in the Publish panel to hide it from the public marketplace — only creators with the access-code link can view and apply. You can regenerate the access code, which invalidates the old link.
